Do I need to be tech-savvy to use AutoInvoice?
Not at all. If you can send a text message, you can use AutoInvoice. Most users are up and running in under 10 minutes.
What happens after my 30-day free trial?
You can upgrade to Solo (€9/month) or Pro (€19/month) to keep automated schedules running. If you don't upgrade, manual sending still works — you just won't get the automation.
Can my clients pay online?
Payment links are coming soon. For now, invoices include your bank details and clients pay by bank transfer as normal.
Is my data safe?
Yes. All data is stored in the EU on secure, encrypted servers. We never share your data with third parties.
Can I cancel at any time?
Absolutely. No contracts, no lock-in. Cancel in one click from your billing settings.
Does it work for VAT-registered businesses?
Yes, on all plans. Add your VAT number to your profile and it will appear on all your invoices. VAT rate selection (0%, 9%, 13.5%, 23%) is included.
Does AutoInvoice help with Making Tax Digital (MTD)?
AutoInvoice keeps a complete digital record of every invoice you send — dates, amounts, clients, and PDFs — which is exactly what HMRC's MTD for Income Tax requires. Can I send invoices via WhatsApp?
Yes — on Solo and Pro plans you can send invoices directly to a client's WhatsApp number. The message includes a link to view the PDF and a one-tap link to mark it as paid. Pro users can also have WhatsApp delivery happen automatically on schedule. We only send to clients who have given explicit consent, keeping you GDPR-compliant.
Can I track my business expenses?
Yes — expense tracking is available on the Pro plan. You can log fuel, supplies, equipment, insurance, and other costs by category, view a running monthly total, and see your true profit and loss alongside your income. Expenses are included in your accountant export, giving your accountant a complete picture at year end.
